Staff attrition is inevitable in an organisation, however, excessive attrition rates pose adverse effects on resources and costing. Loss of productivity, opportunity cost, hiring cost, training cost etc, to name a few. Knowing the causes to attrition is helpful to decision makers to plan to better utilize human resource effectively.

After more than 3 decades of attending the university of hard knocks, here i am once again, standing at the cross roads facing uncertainty whether to let myself slowly recess into obscurity or jump on the bandwagon to begin yet another exciting journey. Being young at heart, refused to stroll down the easy street to enjoy a slow-paced life, instead I've decided to join the rank of aspiring younglings to explore the data world. I started out in the IT industry as a software developer with specialization in relational database management system (RDBMS) on AT&T Unix platform (barely heard in present day) at the begining of my career, now I am rejoining the industry but in the data science realm. Yes, I've been wallowing in the data world for about 15 years, before moving out to non-IT sphere till now.

Ok, mind set, but didn't know how and where to start, so I look to Lead for guidance to give me a jump start. I must say Data Science Bootcamp by Lead is short and intense, but I was able tolearnt python (with data centric biased) coding in just 30 days is just amazing. Equiped withnew skillset, I am ready to begin my adventure in the discovery of Data+Science.
